The Food Network (just recently returned to the Cablevision TV sets of the New York Metro area after a months-long fight with Scripps) debuts a show by the Mexican spitfire chef Marcela Vallodolid tonight at 8:30PM.With a peppy swagger reminiscent of early Rachel Ray and the beauty of a Jennifer Lopez, as well as the elegant and facile cooking chops of Ina Garten, Vallodolid is due to become a quickly-rising star on the network.
